We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team at our St. Peters location (309A Mid Rivers Mall Drive). In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers throughout the St. Peters area and surrounding regions. You will represent our organization with every interaction, ensuring that each delivery is completed on time and with exceptional customer service. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, punctual, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocolsPlan and execute optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet daily delivery targetsLoad, unload, and transport packages of varying sizes and weights with careObtain customer signatures and collect payments when requiredMaintain accurate delivery documentation and records using company systemsCommunicate professionally with customers and address any delivery-related inquiries or concernsPerform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptlyNavigate using GPS and mapping systems to locate delivery addresses accuratelyMeet strict delivery schedules and time windows established by the organizationMaintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all timesFollow all company policies and procedures related to package handling and customer interactions Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordProven experience operating delivery vehicles or commercial vehiclesStrong time management and organizational skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularlyProficiency with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery applicationsAttention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keepingReliable transportation and ability to work independentlyKnowledge of local St. Peters area roads and traffic patterns (preferred)Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or transportation services (preferred)Familiarity with delivery management software or route optimization tools (preferred)Strong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends BENEFITS
