About this role
ServiceNow seeks a highly skilled Solution Architect to lead the implementation and provide ongoing technical assistance for the data.world data catalog solution. This role is pivotal in helping our clients across diverse industries harness the power of a knowledge graph-based enterprise data catalog, supporting their data governance initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Partner with customer's business and technical teams to understand requirements and craft implementation strategies.Take charge of deliverables during the customer implementation lifecycle, ensuring successful integration and platform functionality to support the success of the identified use cases.Collaborate with customers to refine technical and business processes, ensuring ServiceNow's WDF offering is optimally aligned with their data infrastructure.Assist in developing practical solutions, coding scripts, and performing data manipulation tasks as needed.Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and support materials for customer guidance.Excellent communication skills with the ability to describe technical concepts and platform capabilities clearly to people of varying technical depth, and the confidence to discuss project plans with enterprise executivesWork closely with department leader to scope, write, and present SOWs as neededTravel within US approximately 25% Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry. 5+ years of experience in a purely technical, or technical customer facing role, 3+ as a Solutions Architect, Solutions Consultant or Solutions EngineerA balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills, with a background in data governance, data catalogs, ontologies, business intelligence, engineering, or other technical fieldsConsultative problem-solving skills to create value for customers, with the ability to integrate technical knowledge into a consultative processDeep understanding of SaaS / cloud architecture and platform mechanicsProficiency in SQL with the ability to write and execute queriesExperience with REST APIs and building integrated softwareAbility to prioritize multiple projects across a variety of customers at all times, understanding the degrees of criticality while ensuring all deadlines are metHigh degree of emotional intelligence to effectively work with diverse customers and teamsEngage in the nuts and bolts of technical implementation, including coding, system integration, and customization leveraging our REST API.An appetite to try new things.
