ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Production Intern at Fjällräven, you will become part of our production team and support the Production Coordinators in their daily work.
This internship is designed for students whose educational program requires a practical work placement (internship). It is an opportunity to learn how production follow-up works in practice, get to know our products in more depth, and understand how different teams and processes come together to deliver the right products, at the right time, and with the quality we expect.
You will work with real production activities and become familiar with the systems and tools used by our team, including PLM Centric, AX, and D365.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will support the Production Coordinators with daily tasks and contribute to making the production process smoother and more efficient.
You will:
Support production follow-up and coordination activities
Check samples and follow up on sample comments in PLM
Update delivery dates and production information in AX and D365
Assist with spare parts ordering and follow-up
Support the team with other production-related tasks and administrative activities
Help follow up on production timelines, deliveries, and quality-related topics
Collaborate with Production Coordinators and other internal teams to ensure smooth processes
Gain a deeper understanding of Fjällräven products and how they move through the production process
WHO YOU ARE
You:
Are currently enrolled in a degree, diploma, or vocational program in production, textile, garment production, product development or a related field
Are required by your educational institution to complete an internship/practicum
Are curious about how products are made and how production processes are managed
Are structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with systems and administrative tasks
Take initiative and enjoy following tasks through to completion
Have good communication and coordination skills
Are comfortable working collaboratively with different teams
Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Have an interest in outdoor activities such as hiking and camping is a plus, as you’ll be working closely with outdoor-related hardware products.
