We’re seeking someone who is patient, adaptable and genuinely passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND.
You will ideally have:
Experience supporting children or young people with autism and additional needsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA calm, nurturing and positive approachGood behaviour management skills with a relational focusAn understanding of inclusive and personalised learning approachesGood organisation and time management skillsGCSEs (or equivalent Level 2 qualifications) including English and MathsDesirable criteria:
A Level 3 or SEND-related qualificationExperience supporting pupils working below age-related expectationsExperience working with vulnerable or at-risk childrenExperience supporting intimate careKnowledge of partnership or community working
