About the Role
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support children in a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.
You will work closely with the class teacher to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing in line with KS1 Programme of Study
Key Responsibilities
Observe, record and contribute to assessments of children’s progressProvide individual and small-group support, including for children with SEND or additional needsSupport the class teacher to create a safe, inclusive, well-organised and purposeful learning environmentMaintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding responsibilitiesPromote positive behaviour and social developmentWork collaboratively with staff, parents and carersEssential Qualities and Skills
