About this role
Following the progression of our current SENCo to an exciting leadership opportunity beyond the Academy, we are looking to appoint an outstanding SENCo to buildon the strong foundations already in place.
We are looking for a child-centred, inspiring SENCO who champions inclusion, has the skill and passion to elevate teaching and learning for all, and can lead the strategic development of our SEN provision, while overseeing its daily operation to ensure every learner achieves their very best.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within a SEND environment and will ideally have a recognised SENCO qualification. They will also have:
An ability to demonstrate knowledge of the needs of children with SEN/SEMH and motivate and effectively communicate with those childrenA record of excellent examination resultsSuccessful experience in middle managementCreative, innovative ideas to maximise students’ potentialTeam leading skills which enable support and challengeExperience of working with children with a range of SENExcellent record in Teaching and LearningA strong commitment to raising achievement and standards along with an informed and creative approach to curriculum delivery
