About this role

Aldercar High School is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable School Business Assistant (Cover Supervisor) to join our dedicated team. This is a varied and rewarding role combining classroom supervision with administrative support, making a real difference to the daily life of our school.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning in a calm, purposeful and productive environment. Alongside this, you will provide valuable administrative support across the school, helping to ensure our operations run smoothly.

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with young people. Demonstrates effective classroom management skills and high expectations. Can confidently manage behaviour and promote positive learning environments. Has excellent communication and organisational skills. Is flexible, proactive and able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
