Team Manager – Truganina, VIC
About the role and opportunity on offer -

We're looking for an experienced Team Manager to join our Truganina operation and lead a high-performing warehouse team in a fast-paced distribution environment. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives on driving safety, operational excellence and team performance while making a genuine impact on customer outcomes.
You'll be responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring service, safety and productivity targets are achieved while developing a positive and high-performing team culture. You'll coordinate labour, oversee inventory accuracy, manage operational workflows and work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to –
• Leading and developing a team of warehouse employees across daily operations.
• Coordinating labour plans and workflow to achieve operational targets.
• Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with WHS requirements.
• Managing inventory accuracy, stock control, cycle counts and operational reporting.
• Monitoring and improving key performance indicators including DIFOT, productivity and operational costs.
• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and implementing operational efficiencies.
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery.
What You'll Bring to be successful in this role:
• Previous leadership experience within warehousing, logistics, distribution or supply chain operations.
• Strong people leadership skills with a focus on coaching and team development.
• Experience managing operational KPIs and driving performance outcomes.
• Sound understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and service delivery.
• Strong problem-solving, planning and organisational skills.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Commitment to workplace safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
