Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within City Health Care Partnership's Programme Management Office (PMO) for a Programme Manager to join our Corporate Development team.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead and support a diverse range of service improvement, organisational change and transformation programmes that make a real difference to the services we provide. Working with clinical, operational and corporate colleagues, you will help shape ideas into deliverable programmes and support their successful implementation across the organisation.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative individual with experience of managing complex programmes or projects, building strong stakeholder relationships and supporting teams through change. You will be an excellent communicator, able to analyse complex information, facilitate discussions and translate ideas into practical action.

Qualifications Essential
Degree in a relevant subject, equivalent qualification or equivalent level of experience Relevant project/ programme management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP) or equivalent knowledge and experience of programme management or delivering complex changes in a multi-partner environment Evidence of continued professional development in /Programme or Project Management/ Change Management/Service Transformation/Digital Transformation/ Leadership
Desirable
Postgraduate study/research and/or equivalent experience in relevant field
Knowledge Essential
Highly experienced in using tools and processes to develop plans and deliver Programmes of change. Extensive knowledge and practical experience of Programme and Project Management Principles Understanding of policy and the drivers of policy change within the health and social care sector Proven ability to analyse complex information, and develop and present cost, benefit, risk appraisals. Knowledge of Information Governance and associated data security legislation/policies/guidance within the health and care sector
Desirable
Specialist knowledge or substantial experience of service change transformation, or improvement management within the health and care, community or public sector A demonstrable understanding of co-design methodologies and user centered design Awareness of partnership working across organisational boundaries
Experience Essential
Demonstrable, practical experience of delivering complex changes, transformation or improvement Programme(s) within health and care, community or public sector. Experience of using Programme Management tools, techniques and effective risk and issue management. Demonstrable experience of highly developed communications and relationship management skills to support service change and transformation. Demonstrable experience of working with external stakeholders (e.g. commissioners, contractors, suppliers, community organisations) Ability to evaluate and interpret a range of complex information sources quickly, generating insight and taking an evidence-based approach to decision making. Previous experience of working in a leadership role and line managing staff. Previous experience of carrying out professional supervision and development reviews.
Desirable
Experience of working with emerging digital technologies within the health and care, community or public sector.
