Quality Care: Ensuring the delivery of exceptional care meeting the individual needs of each resident, promoting their well-being and dignity. Team Development: Supporting the recruitment, training and development of Colleagues. Including the mentoring of the nursing team, fostering a supportive and motivated work environment. Clinical oversight: Completing pre-admission assessments of potential new residents to ensure their needs can be safely met. Ensuring resident care plans reflect their current needs and are kept under review, working with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure any changes or concerns are addressed promptly. Communication: Maintenance of clear and accurate records of care to be provided and communicate effectively with residents, families, and Colleagues. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the home adheres to all relevant regulations and standards, implementing policies and procedures that promote safety and quality care. Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, Colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication.
Qualifications and Skills:
Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration, with no restrictions. A leadership qualification is desirable but not essential. Proven track record and experience within a social care setting. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. A caring and empathetic approach, with a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of our residents. Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and Colleagues. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
