About this role

Job summary

We are looking for a part time healthcare assistant to join Dean Medical Practice - Coleford, part of G Doc Ltd, working within a supportive, innovative primary care group.

18 hours per weekLocation: Coleford Health Centre, Railway Drive, Coleford, Glos, GL16 8RH

Main duties of the job

To support our nursing and clinical teams to deliver safe and compassionate patient care. This role will suit someone who enjoys a varied and flexible working environment, with lots of opportunity to learn new skills.

You will undertake procedures and health checks, as well as long-term condition management. You will support health promotion and patient education.

Reports to line manager

Operationally: Practice Manager

Clinically: Lead Nurse

Excellent communication skills (written and oral) If not already competent in SystmOne, Office & Outlook, willing and able to undertake training and develop competency. Ability to follow policy and procedure Effective time management Ability to work as a team member and autonomously Good interpersonal skills Must either be Hepatitis B immune or be willing to undergo an immunisation course
