About this role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Gather, process, evaluate and analyse information from all available sources to produce actionable intelligence products to support intelligence and investigative activities, operations and strategies • Conduct analysis to identify networks and other trends, links and patterns of interest. • Assist in updating the ITA I&I Intelligence and Case Management System and other internal databases, data analysis and/or intelligence collection software tools. • Stay up to date with technology and methods related to data analysis and/or intelligence collection software tools and identify associated needs and/or gaps. • Conduct deep-dive interrogation of information across a variety of databases and other available data sources. • Communicate analytical findings in a clear and concise way, in both presentations and in written reports, to support operational and strategic decision making. • Liaise with I&I Manager to ensure analytical resourceis allocated according to relevant partner IF budgets • Collaborate regularly with external partners such as anti doping or integrity agencies, international/national law enforcement and public authorities—to share intelligence, support investigative activities and develop best practices in the field of intelligence analysis. • Coordinate regularly with other ITA Departments to deliver actionable intelligence and support intelligence led approaches across ITA anti doping programmes.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Strong commitment to protecting the integrity of sport and its athletes. • Higher Education degree (or equivalent experience) in any relevant I&I field (such as but not limited to intelligence studies, criminal sciences or criminology, analysis, etc.) • Minimum of 3 years of extensive experience in intelligence analysis. • Demonstrated experience in providing analytical support to intelligence operations and/or investigations. • Demonstrated expert knowledge of information technology database structures, and various intelligence tools and software solutions. • Capacity to clearly and succinctly report on intelligence findings in written reports and verbal presentations to a range of internal and external stakeholders. • Rigorous critical and lateral thinking skills and intelligence, problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; possess impeccable standards of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple topics/tasks simultaneously in a structured, methodological, and organised manner. • Demonstrated capacity to quickly become a subject-matter expert across diverse fields and self-reflect on areas of improvement. • Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight, competing deadlines. • A driven, service-oriented team player with a problem-solving mindset and “can do” attitude. • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. • General knowledge of the international sport environment
PREFERRED SKILLS • Experience in forensic imaging of electronic devices and/or in the analysis of forensically recovered data from electronic devices. • Experience in conducting field operations • In-depth knowledge of any ITA partner sports, as well as anti-doping or related integrity activities. • Knowledge of the anti-doping industry, its regulatory framework, and stakeholders. • Knowledge of other languages.
