Your mission At IONITY, we are developing digital products that power the e-mobility ecosystem. As an IT Product Owner for an agile backend team, you are responsible for maximizing the value delivered by your agile team within Agile Release Train (ART). <br> You work closely with Business Owners, Product Management, System Architects, and other Product Owners to understand the vision and roadmap. You translate Features into well-defined Stories and ensure their successful delivery within Planning Intervals (PIs), contributing to a reliable and value-driven flow across domains. <br> <br>As an IT Product Owner in a SAFe environment, you: <br><ul><li><span><span>Elicit, clarify, and assess stakeholder needs and requests, making transparent trade-offs based on value, feasibility, risk, and dependencies</span></span></li><li><span><span>Align priorities, requirements, scope boundaries, assumptions, and decisions with relevant business and technical stakeholders</span></span></li><li><span><span>Strongly influence the evolution of your domain and its technical roadmap</span></span></li><li><span><span>Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, structuring it into incremental releases</span></span></li><li><span><span>Translate product features into detailed technical user stories for backend services and domain logic</span></span></li><li><span><span>Define functional and non-functional acceptance criteria and ensure testability</span></span></li><li><span><span>Coordinate with other Product Owners to identify integration points across domains and ensure product and release coherence</span></span></li><li><span><span>Provide transparency on scope, priorities, status, risks, and dependencies</span></span></li><li><span><span>Actively contribute to relevant Scrum and </span><span>SAFe</span><span> events by clarifying priorities and requirements, enabling timely decisions, and ensuring a shared understanding of intended outcomes</span></span></li><li><span><span>Track progress and coordinate the prioritization and resolution of production issues</span></span></li></ul> Your profile <ul><li><span><span>Master’s degree in Computer Science</span><span>, Engineering, or similar relevant field</span></span></li><li><span><span>2–5 years of professional experience as IT Product Owner working with agile development teams</span></span></li><li><span><span>Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to align business and technical stakeholders</span></span></li><li><span><span>Ability to provide clear product direction and align a cross-functional development team around shared goals and priorities</span></span></li><li><span><span>Analytical skills combined with a creative, solution-oriented mindset</span></span></li><li><span><span>Solid understanding of </span><span>SAFe</span><span> (team and program level), including ART ceremonies and PI planning</span></span></li><li><span><span>Sound knowledge of backend development, APIs, and domain-driven system design</span></span></li><li><span><span>Proven experience in requirements analysis, story slicing, and prioritization</span></span></li><li><span><span>Quality mindset (“shift left”: considering testability, NFRs, </span><span>DoR</span><span>/DoD from the start)</span></span></li><li><span><span>Very good communication skills in English; German is a plus</span></span></li><li><span><span>Motivated to familiarize yourself with new topics</span></span></li><li><span><span>Genuine interest in the e-mobility industry</span></span></li></ul>
