JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Enterprise Applications is responsible for the strategy, administration, optimization, and governance of the company's enterprise systems, with Trimble Viewpoint Vista as the core ERP platform. This role serves as the bridge between Finance, Operations, Administration, and IT, ensuring that ERP and enterprise technologies effectively support job costing, project accounting, payroll, equipment management, service operations, and financial reporting for our electrical contracting business. The Director drives platform roadmap decisions, and partners with executive leadership to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: • Own the strategic roadmap for ERP and all integrated accounting and operational platforms • With the collaboration of SMEs, lead ERP version upgrades, module rollouts (e.g., HR, Service Management, Equipment, Document Control, Project Management), and major configuration changes. • Manage Vista's reporting environment including Crystal Reports, Vista Reporting/Analytics, Power BI integrations. • Define the integration architecture standards for how systems talk to each other. • Maintain the inventory of all business applications, their owners, contracts, renewal dates, and lifecycle status. • Periodically review for redundant tools, shadow IT, and consolidation opportunities as the company grows. • Partner with Operations and Project Management to optimize job costing, change order management, subcontract administration, AIA billing, and progress billing workflows. • Establish service-level expectations, ticket triage, and project intake processes for ERP-related requests. • Maintain documentation of system configurations, integrations, and standard operating procedures. • Serve as the primary liaison with Trimble Viewpoint support, third-party Vista consultants, and integration vendors. • Collaborate with executive leadership on initiatives such as forecasting, cash flow management, executive dashboards, and KPI reporting. • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for stakeholders at all levels.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities per the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws. • Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • 8+ years of progressive experience in ERP administration, enterprise systems, or Finance / IT leadership • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.). • Demonstrated expertise in construction accounting concepts: job costing, WIP, percentage-of-completion, AIA billing, retention, change orders, and subcontract management • Demonstrated expertise in different reporting / BI structures

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Direct experience working for an electrical, mechanical, or specialty trade contractor. • Familiarity with Vista, ProjectSight, Bluebeam, Kojo, and Power BI.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: • General Office Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc. • Environmental Conditions: The work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled setting with minimal exposure to loud noise, temperature variations, or other environmental factors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards. • Sitting/Standing: Requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, though there may be opportunities for standing and moving around the office as needed. • Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands to operate computer keyboards, mouse, and other office tools, as well as to handle paperwork. • Visual Requirements: The ability to read and interpret data on computer screens and printed documents is essential. • Mobility: Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds, such as files, documents, or office supplies, may be requested. Must be able to access all areas of the facility and projects to determine purchasing needs. • Communication: Regular communication with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders requires the ability to exchange information effectively in both verbal and written form.

SCHEDULE AND REQUIRED TRAVEL: • Requires the ability to report to job sites or offices throughout Florida. • May be requested to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
