About this role
Sandy Lane Hotel, an AAA Five Diamond, Forbes Five Star exclusive resort and member of Leading Hotels of the World, is seeking to recruit persons to work in the following temporary seasonal positions across the resort.
Housemen
Responsible for completing assigned duties for the cleanliness of the hotel.
Housekeepers
Responsible for the cleanliness of all guest rooms and suites and the comfort of all guests.
Messenger/Driver
The Messenger/Driver will be responsible for maintaining the smooth delivery of linen, gear and documents to the hotel.
Laundry Attendants
Use steam press, hot heads, steam tunnel and dry cleaning machines to assist in the seamless running of the Housekeeping department.
Assistant Waiters/Waitresses
Responsible for the delivery and service of food from kitchen to dining room in quick and efficient guest oriented environment where a keen eye for detail and consistent service excellence is key.
Assistant Bartenders
Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by mixing and preparing cocktails and coffee/tea orders for the guests, and filling the waiters' orders.
Pool Attendant
The Pool Attendant will report to the Beach Manager and will be responsible for maintaining contact to our clientele, the cleanliness of the pool area and its furniture.
Watersports Attendant
The Watersports Attendant will report to the Beach Manager and will be responsible for assisting and instructing guests with all water sports activities.
Beach Porter
The Beach Porter will report to the Beach Manager and will be responsible for maintaining contact to our clientele, the setting up of the beach, the cleanliness of the beach area and furniture.
Stewards
Responsible for the general cleanliness of all kitchens, Food & Beverage outlets and equipment. Also provide assistance with the setup of restaurant buffet décor.
Experience in the Hotel Industry would be an asset for these vacancies.
The successful candidates must be team players, be in good physical condition and be able to perform extensive walking, bending and stretching. They must consistently maintain the highest standard of service and operational efficiency within their assigned areas.
