Job Overview

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing projects from initiation through completion. You will oversee schedules, resources, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring projects remain aligned with customer expectations and contractual requirements.

This position offers the opportunity to lead high-visibility initiatives, influence strategic outcomes, and contribute directly to organizational and customer success.

What You'll Do

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage projects and program activities from initiation through completion

• Develop and manage project schedules, work plans, milestones, and deliverables

• Monitor project performance to ensure cost, schedule, and technical objectives are achieved

• Coordinate personnel, resources, subcontractors, and support functions to meet project requirements

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues

• Lead project meetings, status reviews, customer briefings, and stakeholder engagements

• Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements

• Prepare and present project status reports, performance metrics, and executive briefings

• Coordinate with customers, leadership, team members, and stakeholders to ensure project success

• Support budget planning, resource allocation, and workforce planning activities

• Implement process improvements that enhance project execution and operational efficiency

• Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained

• Support program growth initiatives, transition activities, and strategic planning efforts

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline

• Ten (10) years of experience in program management, project management, task management, contract support, or a related field

• Knowledge of program and project management principles, methodologies, and best practices

• Knowledge of contract administration and performance management concepts

• Knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing requirements

• Ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues

• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate stakeholder activities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools

• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if required

Preferred Experience

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent

• Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs

• Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders

• Experience overseeing project budgets, schedules, and staffing resources

• Experience supporting contract execution and performance management

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a government contracting environment
