About this role
The Legacy Healthcare Center is a RCF facility. We are currently accepting applications for a Dietary Manager. Candidates applying must be flexible and available to work varying shift times, as well as weekends and/or holidays. Experience in a long-term care facility or hotel setting is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, menu planning, and meal preparation in a kitchen setting.
Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus - Ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards - Follow proper food handling procedures and regulations - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Weekly Ordering for food and dietary supplies
Experience: - Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment - Knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices - Familiarity with menu planning and catering concepts - Ability to use kitchen equipment such as knives effectively - Experience in fine dining establishments is a plus
