About this role

Director of People & Culture | Dublin | Full-time, with part-time arrangements considered

EPIC Group brings together EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, The CHQ Building and The Pierhead Barbados, a diverse group of cultural, commercial, heritage and destination-led businesses and projects.

The Group currently employs around 80 people and, as our businesses and projects continue to develop, we are entering a significant period of growth, with our workforce expected to increase to approximately 150 people over the next 12 to 18 months.

We are looking for an experienced Director of People & Culture to join our Senior Management Team and lead the Group's people agenda as our businesses continue to develop and grow.

This is a senior leadership role, but a highly visible and practical one. We want someone who will get to know our businesses, our managers and our people, understand how our teams operate and bring a strong people and organisational perspective to how the Group operates and grows.

Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will lead the Group’s approach to people strategy, organisation design, workforce planning, culture and leadership capability, employee relations, reward and people insight. You will also lead the People & Culture team, ensuring the function provides a responsive, practical and high-quality shared service across the Group.

We are looking for someone who can move comfortably between strategic leadership and hands-on delivery, who is commercially aware and who enjoys being part of the day to day business. Your ability to build trusted relationships, challenge constructively and enable managers to take ownership of their teams will be central to the role.

The role is advertised on a full-time basis, although we are open to considering experienced candidates who may be seeking a part-time working arrangement. We are interested in finding the right person for the role and are happy to discuss how an alternative working pattern could work for both the individual and the business.
