Catholic Charities Washtenaw County is seeking a part-time, qualified therapist to join our new Faith-Based service line in our growing Behavioral Health Services program to help meet the increasing needs in our community. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position that will provide individual, family/marital, substance use, and group therapy.

Position Overview

• Provides clinical services for clients who are requesting Christian based counseling services, including, the provision of individual, family and marital counseling, group therapy, and parent programming.

• Ensures high-quality clinical and related services that will, where appropriate, ground the interventions and desired outcomes in Catholic values, as expressed in Scripture, in the Catechism, and elsewhere in the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must be a fully licensed LMSW or Ph.D. psychologist.

• Minimum of two years post-MSW professional experience in outpatient setting required, with proven ability to deliver effective short-term solution-focused treatment in an outpatient setting.

• Additional training in Pastoral Ministry, Chaplaincy, or a related field is preferred.

• This position will be filled by a faithful Catholic who is fully qualified to provide outstanding clinical and related services, and who will, where appropriate, ground the interventions and desired outcomes in Catholic values, as expressed in Scripture, in the Catechism, and elsewhere in teachings of the Catholic Church.

• Must have a clear understanding of Catholic teachings

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive, hourly/benefit-eligible, depending on caseload (prorated based on FTE). Must be able to maintain minimum weekly required caseload/minimum required FTE to be eligible for benefits.
