Job Overview:

This is an in-person role in Burlingame, California. Educational Consultants work directly with students and families in the afternoon and evening to provide personalized 1-on-1 academic support and advising for:

• Standardized Test Preparation

• Ongoing School Coursework

• Executive Function Management

• Passion Projects

• Confidence and Soft Skill-building

During the morning and midday, besides receiving training on teaching pedagogy, Educational Consultants learn about and contribute to the growth and operations of the business in some of the following fields based on aptitude:

• Sales

• Recruitment

• Research & Data Analysis

• Curriculum Development

• Marketing

• Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an elite, nationally accredited university.

• Proficiency in high school-level core Humanities subjects, including AP-level math.

• Exceptional writing proficiency coupled with the pedagogical skills to teach composition effectively.

• Prior experience tutoring/coaching high school-aged students in Humanities subjects.

• Having a registered vehicle and a license for transportation between offices and to students’ homes.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and 1 weekend day for 8 months of the year.

Skills:

• Extrovert personality: can engage and excite students.

• Organized and detail-oriented.

• Growth-mindset: willing to learn business principles and having a desire for career advancement.

• Proficiency in the Google Suite and Gemini.

Compensation & Benefits:

• On-Target Earnings (OTE): $85,000-$115,000+

• Base Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000

• Performance & Referral-Based Bonuses: $15,000-$40,000+

• Paid out in two installments yearly
