Position Overview:
The Town of Avon, Colorado, is accepting applications for a Transit Bus Wash Operator - Part-Time/Seasonal
The Transit Bus Wash Operator - Part-Time/Seasonal is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily vehicle staging, parking, cleanliness; fueling and maintenance of the Town of Avon’s public transit facility to ensure that Town and third party operational needs are met in an efficient and effective manner.

Essential Functions:
• Maintains vehicle staging, parking, fueling, cleaning and maintenance of Town and third party vehicles for safe and efficient daily operations
• Maintains daily operations and cleanliness of wash bay, fuel island and vehicle parking areas
• Coordinates with the Mobility Manager and Mobility Supervisor scheduling and completion of timely vehicle preventative maintenance and recordkeeping of required paperwork
• Assists with coordination of daily vehicle and operator schedules, communicating with Core Transit dispatch and road supervisory staff to ensure smooth third-party daily operations
• Ensure vehicles daily inspections, i.e., appropriate levels for fluids and tire pressure, operative lights and turn signals, cleanliness of vehicles both inside and outside, and excess and abnormal wear of tires
• Coordinates with facilities maintenance building technician to schedule wash bay building equipment preventive maintenance
Other Duties and Functions: 1. Performs other related duties as may be assigned

Qualifications
