Main duties of the job The Food and Beverage Assistant role involves supporting residents during their dining experience. Responsibilities include assisting with meal selection, setting tables according to standards, maintaining a clean and tidy environment, and replenishing homemade cakes and fresh food options. You will also need to ensure adherence to residents' dietary requirements. Ideal candidates should exhibit high standards of personal hygiene, compassion, commitment, and preferably have experience in a related field such as a restaurant or hotel. A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial. An essential part of the job is conducting a DBS Disclosure check and providing proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals.
Other responsibilities will include:
Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining. Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures. Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options. Being aware of residents dietary requirements.
