Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP to join the dynamic, experienced, and well-established team at Beech House Surgery working 4 to 8 sessions per week. Our focus is on finding the right person for our team and to that end we are open to applications for a salaried or partnership role.
We are a friendly, welcoming, and supportive practice with a diverse skill mix; located in the market town of Knaresborough on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales within easy distance of Harrogate, York, and Leeds.

Main duties of the job
Duties will include:
Delivery of a high standard of primary care to registered patients (via telephone, electronic and face to face consultations) as well as home visits when clinically indicated
Effective and proactive management of patient's long-term conditions and medication
Associated administration including referrals, prescription requests and other relevant tasks
Accepting an equal share of workload and working collaboratively
Working with the management team to set and achieve strategic goals, reducing expenditure and increasing income to ensure financial growth
Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvements, quality initiatives and practice development
Regular partnership and clinical meetings as well as the opportunity to be involved in external meetings with the PCN, etc
Development of specialist clinical areas dependant on candidate interest and practice needs
