Job summary
Maple Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic 4 session GP to work alongside our existing two GPs, nursing team and allied healthcare workers to further compliment the services we provide to our patients.

No problem. We are a small village practice that prioritises quality over quantity youll have 15 minute face-to-face appointments so you can spend quality time with patients rather than firefighting all day consumed by never-ending triage and faceless text-messaging.

Renumeration
£12,916.80 a session, four clinical sessions pw plus paid indemnity

Main duties of the job
Max 13 patients per session, working alongside a small cohesive and supportive team.
This is a low visiting practice, max 2 per week (often none), no care homes.
SystmOne practice with full Ardens templates. Excellent QOF achievement.
We run total triage using SystmConnect, allowing a structured, information-gathering approach rather than "first-come-first-served" booking. This collects patient details upfront, allowing clinicians to prioritise care based on need rather than queue speed.
Protected time allocated for shared administrative and prescription tasks.
Monthly clinical closure afternoon for training and team building. Strong relationship with supportive PPG. Excellent PCN relations with full cohort of ARRS supporting your workload.

Welcome to Maple Surgery and to CGPN
We are Cambs GP Network - a Federation of GP Practices across Cambridge and surrounding villages, with a social enterprise ethos - wholly owned by our local member practices.
Maple Surgery has 4,005 patients - cared for by a supportive, stable team. The clinical team includes two GPs, Practice Nurse and HCA as well as a Social Prescriber, Pharmacy Team and a Community Matron as part of Cambridge North Villages PCN. The practices operational team consists of a Practice Manager, Reception Lead, team of Receptionists and a Prescriptions Clerk.
This is a traditional practice supporting face-to-face high-quality consulting, that has the support of a bigger network in the form of CGPN so you can focus on patients, not firefighting and be sure of transparent and stable running of the practice.
The practice is greatly supported by its PPG (Patient Participation Group), and has a true community spirit about it, the practice has just undergone an extensive refurbishment programme by NHSPS and is located immediately off the westbound A14 just outside Cambridge.
