Job summary Position: School/College Nurse / Learning Disability Nurse RGN, RLDN/RN Location: Lufton College, Somerset, BA22 8ST Full Time 24 hours but hours can be increased to 40 hours per week (increased hours will be over 2 sites) Salary £31,049 - £38,682 salary would be pro rata dependant on hours and experience
Main duties of the job You should have a strong understanding of Aspergers and Autism and have experience of working with these conditions. Working knowledge of physical health conditions, including Epilepsy, Diabetes, Anaphylaxis. Knowledge around Safeguarding and keeping others safe. Excellent understanding of safe and effective medication management within childrens homes/schools. Ability to communicate clearly to others using a variety of platforms including nonverbal communication Experience in working/promoting therapeutic relationships with children and Young People Working autonomously within a residential/ward environment.

Ability to be flexible with hours, required to assist with the effective quality of care in the school.
