Requisition Identification 13147 Closing Date 16 September 2026 Operating Model Entity Regional Operations & Asset Services Location Temane Purpose of Job Responsible for improving work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labour, parts and material, and equipment access to safely ensure or extend the life expectancy of equipment, reduce maintenance cost and increase plant output through. Key Accountabilities Act as liaison person between Maintenance, Ops and other support departments; Permit advanced determination of labour resources needed and time required to complete each job (information, labour, materials, equipment, tools, etc); Responsible for long and short range planning, regular analysis and prioritization of backlog relative to available resources; Provide a central source of information concerning maintenance work, equipment, and equipment repair; Evaluates job feedback and makes recommendations to improve future planned work; Support IPF and CPF team with design and implementation of advanced resource plan allocation and scheduling tool; Support team with review of master data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Technical Objects, PM Assembly/BOM’s accuracy, PM Plan Task Lists content, resourcing, durations, tools); Conduct Hands-On Tool Time Observations for improvement of Task Lists and resource planning; Upload up to date Maintenance Strategies into the CMMS; Establish, maintain, enforce and improve work management processes; Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure that the maintenance programme is strictly adhered to; Accurate and on time reporting of the maintenance work and performance indicators; Planning and managing maintenance contracted labour, equipment and materials; Support maintenance team in the business planning process (budgeting, execution and cost controlling and reporting); Deal with issues effectively keeping the business unit’s best interests in mind. Formal Education NQF Level 4 in Electrical.
