The Role This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance functions in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities Providing financial accounting, management reporting and business partnering support Assist Finance Manager to review/prepare timely and high-quality monthly management reporting packs, balance sheet reconciliations and other ad hoc financial information prepared by outsource agent Preparation of monthly cash flow forecast and variance analysis (budget vs actuals) Assist with preparation of tax reports including VAT, corporation tax and ensure HMRC compliance Preparation of full year financial reporting and statutory reporting for the group of companies Assist Finance Manager to ensure adherence to financial controls and accuracy of transactions processing Assist in the success of an ongoing finance system implementation Drive process improvements across the company Create and drive a robust financial controls framework Ownership of Property and Entity Accounts for All assets under management, including cashflow Assisting the Finance Team with other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required Ensuring internal control and compliance Job Requirements ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant (or equivalent) with up to 2 years post qualification experience. Good level of proficiency in MS Excel Good knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS Minimum of 2 years’ relevant financial experience in the real estate industry Strong interpersonal skills, able to interface with colleagues internally and on a cross border/remote basis and third partie
