Role Purpose We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to support financial accounting, reporting, tax compliance, and month-end close activities within a multinational environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and strong financial controls while partnering with regional and global stakeholders. The successful candidate will also play a key role in finance transformation, automation initiatives, and continuous process improvement projects. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly financial close and ensure timely local statutory and group reporting submissions. Prepare GL entries of accruals, amortizations, provisions, lease accounting adjustments etc. Manage revenue calculations, invoicing, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and supporting details to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Handle tax compliance activities, including VAT, CIT, annual tax filings, and government reporting. Coordinate statutory audits, tax filing and regulatory compliance matters with external auditors/advisors. Support business registrations, license maintenance, and other corporate compliance activities. Drive process improvements, automation, finance system enhancements, and digital finance initiatives. Ad hoc tasks / projects assigned by reported manager Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an MNC environment. Strong knowledge of IFRS, PRC GAAP, China tax regulations, internal controls, and financial compliance. Hands-on SAP experience is required; SAP S/4HANA experience is highly preferred. Advanced Excel, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, written and spoken.
