OJT Intern – Industrial Engineering & Technical Training (ELITE) Department ELITE / PCR – Global Customer Service Operations Position Summary The OJT Intern will support Industrial Engineering and Technical Training activities within ELITE operations. The role provides hands-on exposure to process improvement, training support, and compliance initiatives such as 5S workplace organization and ESD control. Interns will assist in daily operations while developing technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills aligned with their field of study. Key Responsibilities 1. Industrial Engineering Support Assist in time studies, process mapping, and workflow analysis to identify improvement opportunities Support data gathering, analysis, and reporting for productivity, efficiency, and quality initiatives Participate in continuous improvement projects (Lean, waste reduction, cycle time improvement) Help document standard work instructions and process updates 2. Technical Training Support Assist Technical Trainers in conducting basic orientation and skills training sessions Support preparation of training materials, presentations, and evaluation tools Help monitor trainee progress and maintain training records Provide assistance during hands-on technical training activities (e.g., basic troubleshooting, repair exposure) [GTR-001-01 Rev03 | Excel] 3. 5S Implementation and Sustainability Support workplace organization initiatives (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) Participate in 5S audits, housekeeping, and area improvement activities Assist in monitoring compliance and updating visual management tools Collaborate with teams to sustain proper workplace standards 4. General Operational Support Assist in day-to-day ELITE/PCR operations while learning core processes Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and supervisors on assigned tasks Maintain documentation and ensure accuracy of reports and records Adhere to company policies, confidentiality requirements, and training plans Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program (Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field) Has completed at least 2 years of coursework Basic knowledge of process improvement, data analysis, or electronics fundamentals Willing to learn repair/test processes and operational workflows Skills & Competencies Analytical and problem-solving skills Basic data handling and reporting skills (Excel, charts, etc.) Good communication and teamwork Attention to detail and discipline in following procedures Willingness to learn and participate in continuous improvement initiatives Learning Opportunities Hands-on exposure to manufacturing/repair operations and test systems Experience in Industrial Engineering tools (time study, process mapping, Lean concepts) Exposure to technical training delivery and evaluation processes Practical application of 5S and ESD standards in a production environment Collaboration with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Repair, Training) Supervision & Reporting Reports to assigned Supervisor/Manager and Technical Trainer Works closely with Industrial Engineering, ELITE, and PCR teams
