Job Description Responsible for achieving API production targets while ensuring compliance, safety, quality, cost control, manpower management, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. Production Operations Plan, organize, and monitor daily API manufacturing activities. Ensure adherence to production schedules and monthly output targets. Optimize utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources. Monitor batch manufacturing activities and ensure compliance with approved BMR/BPR. Compliance & Quality Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, Data Integrity, and regulatory requirements. Support audits by regulatory agencies, customers, and corporate teams. Investigate deviations, OOS, incidents, and implement CAPA. Ensure change controls and SOP compliance. Safety & Environment Promote a strong safety culture across production areas. Ensure compliance with process safety, industrial safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor hazardous chemical handling and waste management practices. People Management Lead and develop production supervisors, officers, and operators. Conduct training and competency assessments. Drive employee engagement and performance management. Work Experience 15-18 years of experience in API pharma manufacturing Education Masters in Chemistry or Chemistry B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Engineering Competencies Result Orientation Process Excellence Developing Talent Strategic Agility Innovation & Creativity Customer Centricity Collaboration Stakeholder Management
