Our team at the BMW Group develops methods and accelerates the digitalization process for vehicle development. We develop a method to investigate real driving postures for better vehicle designs and foster an innovative research environment where you can contribute. What awaits you? You will investigate research questions for industrial applications in collaboration with another doctor student. You will support to develop a vision-based method for human pose estimation. You will test and validate the method in a real vehicle. You will support in refining the method based on the validation results. What should you bring along? Studies in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering or a related field. Hands-on programming experiences with computer-vision-related projects. Knowledge of 2D and 3D human pose estimation. Familiarity with fiducial systems. High degree of self-motivation and strong organizational skills. Good English language skills.
