Find out more about life at Alter Domus at careers.alterdomus.com These Internships are a structured 10 week program where Interns will be afforded the opportunity to gain hands on experience, work on team specific projects and learn about the alternative investment industry. YOUR ROLE: Our Private Credit business unit works with our clients on syndicated and corporate loans. These positions are client facing and are a great introduction to finance, loan servicing, and alternative investing. We have the following roles open for Summer 2027: Loan Agency (Carmel, Chicago): Work primarily with syndicated commercial loans. This team focuses on loan processing, reviewing loan documents, invoicing, facilitating lender trades, and client service and communication. Loan Trade Settlement (LTS) (Chicago, Carmel): LTS focuses on the trading of loans. The team is client service focused. In this role you would have the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on the logistics and compliance of trades. Asset Based Lending (ABL) (Carmel): Handles collateral and asset-based servicing and monitoring. Successor Agency (SA) (Chicago): Works on distressed and high-risk loans. Commercial Loan & Credit Services (CLCS) (Chicago): This team is also known as Real Estate Loan Servicing team. CLCS works with non-syndicated and smaller loans providing underwriting support and a variety of other services. Portfolio Administartion (Carmel, Chicago): Act as the Middle Office administrator for portfolio's of CDOs and CLOs YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage middle-market and broadly-syndicated commercial loans where Alter Domus has been engaged as the administrative agent Maintain the loan register, record, and execute all loan activities Review and extract data from loan agreements, amendments, and other governing loan documents, ensuring accurate application on the loan agency system Accurately prepare loan notices Participate in Alter Domus Intern Programming around professional development, career progression, and presentation Attend in-person and virtual networking events The hourly rate range for these positions is $23 - 25 per hour based on location.
