About the Team This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies. We are looking for a Software Engineer to support End-of-Line (EOL) production processes for automotive electronic control units (ECUs). The role focuses on software flashing stations, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and support for software releases in a manufacturing environment. What you can look forward to as a Software Engineer – EOL Flashing & Diagnostics (f/m/d): Support and maintain ECU flashing and diagnostic processes at EOL stations. Analyze and resolve software-related production issues and NOK boards. Configure and debug flashing and test equipment. Support deployment and industrialization of new software releases. Analyze communication logs and diagnostic traces. Collaborate with software development, manufacturing, quality, and cybersecurity teams. Contribute to First Pass Yield (FPY) and process improvement activities. Your profile as a Software Engineer – EOL Flashing & Diagnostics (f/m/d): Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field. Understanding of embedded systems and firmware flashing processes. Knowledge of automotive communication and diagnostic protocols: UDS CAN / CAN FD TCP/IP UDP Experience with automotive tools such as CANoe (or similar). Knowledge of programming languages: C, Python. Experience with QNX, Linux, or other operating systems used in embedded and real-time environments is highly desirable. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Fluent English and Polish language skills. Nice to have: Experience with automotive EOL testing or manufacturing environments. Knowledge of flashing systems. Familiarity with AURIX-based ECUs.
