Get started! Division Information Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, headquartered in McKinney, TX. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium and heavy-duty truck parts sold under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For more than forty years, Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck manufacturing divisions and PACCAR Parts service parts division with high quality components, subassemblies and specialized services. Requisition Summary Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, strives to be the premier supplier in product quality, on-time delivery, and pre-production support to PACCAR’s Kenworth and Peterbilt truck divisions and PACCAR Parts. The Dynacraft Process Engineer reports to the Assistant Plant Manager and is responsible for assisting in the development of the strategic direction for the Plant in support of Dynacraft’s vision and goals as well as supporting the Truck Plants and Aftermarket Customer requirements. The Process Engineer role is responsible for the study, analysis, development, and documentation of the Business Relations processes. The job also includes assistance with continuous improvement efforts focusing on departmental continuous improvement projects and improvements in overall departmental efficiency. This position can be located in Louisville, KY or McKinney, TX. Job Functions / Responsibilities Study and analyze Business Relations processes with recommendations for improvement. Overall departmental efficiency and effectiveness improvements. Eliminate roadblocks for Business Relations. Audit processes against Standard Work. Manage departmental training matrix. Implement and support initiatives to improve training levels. Conduct process audits and document results. Develop, document, and maintain documents that define and standardize processes. Risk Analysis Be able to recommend process and/or system changes to enhance safety/productivity/quality. Participate in corrective actions related to internal or external defects. Track and report results of internal defect measurement. Work with cross functional teams on various projects. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Must be able to operate independently with little guidance while being a positive contributor to a team environment. Must have excellent technical, verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Proven problem-solving skills are required. Must lead by example and have a proven record of excellence in attendance, dependability and safety. Must be self-motivated, well organized, flexible and able to handle the pressure of a high-volume operation. Computer literacy is required with a familiarity of MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. A minimum of three (3) years’ manufacturing and/or distribution experience preferred. Demonstrate understanding of root cause and corrective action tools/methods. Hands on ability and data analysis skills a plus. Experience with SAP/Operations preferred. Education Bachelor's Degree Required. Six Sigma training is preferred.
