Role Overview The Services Procurement Analyst will provide support to the Services Procurement department by tracking all bid processes, evaluations, project milestones and deliverables, as well as facilitating competitive bid processes (“RFPs”) for Services. You will also support Procurement’s organization and process team in the supplier qualification process and additional reporting as necessary. Main accountabilities: Maintain responsibility for bid evaluations, commercial and contractual negotiations, and contract approval prior to contract finalization Assist with the creation and documentation of a competitive bid process that can be used at all levels of the organization Serve as a liaison between the Procurement, Development, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, and Asset Management departments Verify that applicable company approvals are obtained before contracts are executed Provide weekly or as-needed reporting of Bid process, PO, and contract status Provide support to the organization and processes function including tracking supplier qualification documents for the approval of suppliers to ensure timely and accurate processing to meet deadlines Provide ad hoc reporting and data management services for Services Procurement team Track key Material Purchase Order milestones in order to ensure project schedule is maintained Gather market research to maintain database including but not limited to material lead times, bidder availability, commodity pricing, etc. Coordinate EDPR and supplier visits for bid presentations or industry events Support purchase expediting activities Serve as back up support for SAP Administration Direct reports: 0 Travel: 0% - 10% Minimum qualifications: Associate’s degree or demonstrated progress toward a degree 2+ years of related purchasing experience preferred; industrial or manufacturing experience preferred Proficient knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office software (particularly Word, Excel, and Powerpoint); some knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred Behavioral requirements: Familiarity with "e"-enabled supply chain systems (e.g., web-based systems, Oracle, SAP) Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task Written and verbal and communication skills Ability to be self-motivated and high attention to details Exemplary standards of integrity, safety, ethics, quality, and productivity Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise. (Preferred). Physical demands & working conditions: Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment Walking: Ability to walk .5 to 2 miles per day, including across unpaved and rough surfaces when on project sites.
