The District Technical Support/Sales Representative will provide HVAC technical advice and training to customers including distributors and their dealers on the proper application, installation, operation, and service of our products. This position will serve our Upper Midwest district. This position is field based within the Upper Midwest region and must be based near a major US airport.
• Provide advice regarding routine product installation along with service issues and refer more complex potential buyer’s questions to higher levels.
• Assist field organization with rapid and accurate responses to all sales target’s technical product inquiries.
• Maximize customer, distributor, and dealer sales by training and promoting the Company’s product installation methods, product service and diagnostic methods, and new product introduction.
• Communicate feedback from customers on any product problems, modifications, and alterations so as to help improve the overall image and quality of the Division’s products. Perform other duties as required.
• Associates degree in technical field
• 5+ years direct HVAC or industry experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present training to large groups.
• Computer literate
• Must be able to full perform physical functions of this role, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, crawl, and climb.
• Ability to travel roughly 50% of the time.
HOW TO STAND OUT:
• Bachelors Degree in related field
• Prior instructor/training experience preferred.
• NATE certifications preferred.
