Physical and electronic security is essential in providing a safe and securer environment within SSMC by ensuring the safety of our Patients, Visitors, Staff and the assets of SSMC.

This Position is responsible to represent security operations and lead contracted security personnel during duty/shift hours, monitoring and ensuring compliance of Protective Services policies, procedures and standards.

• Performing operation tasks/special assignments as directed from security Supervisor/Manger

• Reviewing and preparing security personnel's daily activities reports to supervisor, manager

• 24-hour call coverage for the department when required for any emergencies & crisis or operation needs.

• Responding to verbal and written inquiries in a timely manner

• Discussing any issues arising with the line supervisor for solution

• Providing technical expertise in identifying potential issues

• Providing assistance to Police performing any lawful duty on the facility while coordinating with line manager

• Implements operational plans and policies

• Following up all security breach investigations with the contractor staff and ensuring that the proper actions are being taken

• Managing his/her subordinates and ensuring team development and complaint resolution

• Manages to work in shift patterns to maintain security operations 24/7 365 days a year

Accountabilities

• Respond to all emergencies and color code at SSMC

• De-escalate potential violence situation and ensure staff safety

• Support contracted staff during optional hours while on duty

Experience :-

Required:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience

Desired:

• Experience in a large healthcare facility

Educational Qualification: Required:

• Diploma or equivalent in a relevant field

Desired:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant field
