Assistant Student Services Officer (26270183)

The Leadership Qualities Centre (LQC) of the Office of Student Affairs aims to empower students to become committed global and local citizens, assume active roles in facing and resolving global challenges and to become proactive contributors to the local community. We are seeking a passionate individual to assist in managing and delivering experiential learning activities for students.

The appointee is expected to provide support to student development programmes and the day-to-day operation of the Centre.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver different types of experiential learning activities, including adventure education, community engagement and outbound programmes; • Provide logistical and administrative support for events, such as managing applications, handling financial matters and conducting evaluations; • Consolidate activity data and prepare reports and proposals; • Assist in managing the Centre’s social media accounts and the website; and • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or above, preferably with one year of relevant work experience; • Passion for working with young people and good project management skills; • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua; • Knowledge of graphic design, video editing, and/or social media management would be an advantage; • Willingness to work outside normal office hours and on weekends, if necessary; and • Occasional travel to the mainland and overseas may be required;

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

The initial appointment will be offered on a two‑year fixed‑term contract. Reappointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and satisfactory performance.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
