Project Assistant (26270180)
The Office would like to invite proactive and self-driven applicants for the position of Project Assistant to provide administrative support for the following duties:
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day administrative support, including handling email inquiries and phone calls, procuring office supplies, conducting classroom and facility inspections, as well as reporting repair and maintenance issues; • Administer the room-booking system and compile usage statistics to prepare reports; • Assist in managing the Faculty’s facilities to support teaching, research, events, and meetings; • Support colleagues in managing administrative and financial matters related to research initiatives; • Work closely with team members to deliver Faculty-wide events; • Provide administrative and secretarial services to committees and projects; and • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• A recognised bachelor’s degree with some relevant work experience; • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); • Proficiency in computer skills (e.g. word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and the use of AI platforms/agents); • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; • Highly self-motivated, with strong initiative and a strong sense of responsibility; and • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
