Company: Wells Enterprises (a Ferrero Company) Functional Area: Sales The Role Wells Enterprises is looking for a highly motivated Spring 2027 college graduate to join our Sales Development Program. The Sales Development Associate I will develop a foundational understanding of being a salesperson at Wells. In year one, you will manage a territory and deliver on KPIs while building the skills and behaviors necessary to advance to other assignments/rotations within the Sales organization. Rotation two will be on our Category Management/Sales Analytics team. Rotation three will most likely be in a Business Development/Account Sales role. What You’ll Do
• Manages a sales territory with a mix of Chain Grocery Stores, Walmart's and Independent Stores. Responsible for delivering on KPI's (call frequency/calls per day/displays/etc). • Develop a foundational understanding of the role of a front-line salesperson at Wells, merchandising, utilize tools and resources, and KPI's. • Effectively completes requirements at each store call including: verify pricing and distribution, scanning out-of-stocks and low inventory, reload inventory, complete out-of-stock form, review upcoming promotions and out-of-stocks with frozen manager, complete store insights as requested, secure and build incremental displays and face remaining product. • Utilizes Store Call Database (SCDB) tool and other tools for tracking and reporting. Effectively completes all required district reports such as store audits, out of stocks and expense reports, etc. • Establishes strong customer relationships through regular store visits and interaction with key store personnel. Ensures follow-up on any issues or discrepancies. • Gains exposure to and inters with Business Development Managers, Sales Rep II's and other sales support functions within Wells. Observes BDMs and Rep II's in account calls. Assists in call preparation, execution and follow-up. • Actively participates in Corporate and functional skill development training throughout Sales Operations rotation. Applies learnings in day-to-day work where appropriate. #IND123 #LI-Remote
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelors degree required in Business, Finance, Sales, Marketing or similar field; analytics coursework. • 1-2 years of sales experience and analytical experience preferred. • Strong communication skills, problem solving, follow-through, business acumen, analytical skills, curiosity, decision making, customer service, attention to detail, professionalism, building relationships. • Ability to work independently, self-starter, self-motivated, must be able to relocate multiple times, think on feet, strong desire to advance. • Reports to – Region Manager • Direct Reports – None • Indirect Reports – None Wells Enterprises is an EEO/AA employer M/F/Vet/Dis
