In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Support the creation, maintenance, and execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS). • Review and release work orders in accordance with production priorities and schedule requirements. • Validate work order readiness prior to release, including bill of material (BOM) accuracy, routing accuracy, material availability, and availability of required subassemblies. • Review order requirements for completeness and readiness, coordinating with Customer Care, Engineering, and customers to obtain missing information, clarify technical requirements, and resolve discrepancies. • Work closely with Engineering to identify and implement approved material substitutions when shortages or supply disruptions occur. • Monitor and manage work orders through the entire production lifecycle from release through shipment. • Actively manage aging WIP by identifying root causes, driving corrective actions, and ensuring timely order completion. • Partner with manufacturing leadership to balance material availability, labor capacity, and production priorities. • Verify all material issues, completions, backflushes, subassembly transactions, and inventory movements have been properly processed before closing work orders. • Communicate production priorities, shortages, schedule risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders across the organization. • Interact with all levels of plant and corporate personnel. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Work overtime as required.

For This Role, You Will Need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. • A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing, production planning, materials planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience. • Strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. • Experience working with Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, and inventory transactions. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. • Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
• Previous experience with Oracle ERP. • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM preferred). • Experience in a make-to-order or mixed-mode manufacturing environment
