About the RoleWe're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our finance team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you'll primarily support accounts payable and chargeback processing, with opportunities to take on additional accounting responsibilities as the team's needs evolve. This is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys hands-on financial work, and is looking for a stable, ongoing engagement.
What You'll DoProcess and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate paymentsReview, research, and resolve chargebacksPerform accurate, high-volume data entry into accounting systemsReconcile invoices, statements, and vendor accountsAssist with month-end close activities and other accounting tasks as neededCollaborate with the Accountant and broader finance team on ad hoc projects and process improvementsMaintain organized documentation to support audit and compliance needsRequirements
What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting Experience with SAP preferredExperience with Yooz (or similar AP automation software) a plusStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detailA team player who is flexible and comfortable taking on new tasks as priorities shiftAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentStrong organizational and time-management skillsSchedule & LogisticsHybrid schedule based out of our Boston officeHourly, long-term contract Benefits
