Position Summary
Credence has an immediate need for a Cybersecurity Professional at the senior level who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Cyber Resiliency Office for Weapon Systems (CROWS) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
CROWS is organizationally located under AFLCMC/EN-EZ with mission responsibility for ‘baking in’ cyber resiliency into new weapon systems and mitigation of ‘critical’ vulnerabilities in fielded weapon systems.
CROWS is primarily located at two locations: Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB) and Wright-Patterson AFB. There are CROWS personnel located in various locations throughout the AF to provide cyber resiliency support. The major functional areas within CROWS are as follows:
CROWS LeadershipAcquisition Support to increase system security engineering principles into acquisition communityManpower, Education and Training Intelligence integration to increase cyber postureManagement of data reporting and tracking of cyber vulnerabilities and risksData capture, repository and analytics to enable risk-based decision makingInquiry management and adjudication to respond to external inquiries on cyber postureGap analysis of cyber risks for a comprehensive understanding of riskVulnerability and Risk Assessment Projects Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:
Working with multiple AFLCMC personnel offices and functional leads to track and report on execution of manpower processes.Providing CROWS liaison functions to key personnel agencies, including Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC), Center CROWS representatives, personnel offices, and functional leads.Coordinating with CROWS manpower stakeholders to ensure appropriate allocation and distribution of personnel.Supporting and recording the planning of manpower allocations across all participating manpower centers.Building manpower planning briefings for working groups, leadership, and other appropriate forums.Assisting with manpower planning, tracking, and reporting of hiring and personnel management activities related to CROWS manpower authorizations.Managing manpower authorizations as a key member of a high-impact, fast-paced, high-visibility team.Assisting with DoD and DAF program/project analysis, including the planning and organizing of program/project activities.Working directly with CROWS staff.Requirements
Must have an active or current Secret security clearance.Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoW/DoDOR bachelor’s degree in a Human Resource or related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoW/DoDOR fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight (8) years of which must be in the DoD.Certificate in human resources.Ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision.Prior experience working DoW/DoD personnel actions and experience with civilian manpower systems, including GS and Acq Demo.Experience with manpower authorization transfers to and from other locations/unit manning documents.Experience with military assignments, including permanent changes of assignment and permanent changes of station.Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, problem solving, critical and creative thinking, and multi-tasking.Why This Role Matters
