About the Role
You’ll provide hands-on outpatient orthopedic treatment in a full-time, direct-hire position at our Santa Ana clinic. During each approximately one-hour appointment, you’ll work one-on-one with the patient for the first 30 minutes, followed by aide support for the remainder of the visit. This opportunity is built for a PTA who actively uses manual therapy in clinical practice and wants it to remain a core part of their work, not an occasional add-on.
Monthly Salary (USD): Approximately $5,833–$7,083/monthSchedule
Monday-Friday, with no weekend shifts. Eight working hours plus a one-hour lunch, typically 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Depending on the assigned schedule, shifts may start as early as 7:00 AM or end as late as 6:00 PM. All hours are Pacific Time. Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on manual therapy as a central component of outpatient orthopedic treatment. Make each patient’s first 30 minutes a focused, one-on-one treatment experience. Build patient trust through attentive communication and a comfortable, supportive approach to hands-on care. Coordinate with aides to support a smooth transition through the remainder of each patient’s visit. Maintain clear treatment documentation using the clinic’s EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools. Learn and apply new clinic technologies and workflows while keeping patient care at the center of your work.Requirements
Must-Have:
An active California Physical Therapist Assistant license. Recent, ongoing hands-on manual therapy experience from actual clinical practice. Outdated experience, school-only experience, or manual therapy experience limited to skilled nursing facilities or home health does not qualify. Clinical competence in manual therapy and comfort providing one-on-one, hands-on treatment. Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused approach to communication. Comfort learning and adapting to the clinic’s EMR, AI-assisted documentation tools, and workflows. Availability to work full-time, on-site in Santa Ana during the weekday schedule outlined above.
