Charles Schwab's Central Marketing organization manages the Schwab brand, develops impactful advertising that promotes our products & services and builds the marketing touch points and communications that our clients interact with across a variety of channels.
Data Driven Communications within Central Marketing provides our marketing and business partners with support in their acquisition and client engagement strategies by identifying events, triggers, alerts and attributes that create opportunities for meaningful interactions. In addition to audience insight, our team utilizes Salesforce Marketing Cloud to deliver multi-touch, multi-channel, prospect and client communication journeys. Therefore, a role has been designed for an experienced Sr Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist.
What you're good at
As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist, this individual will have a hands-on role in the execution of our Marketing Cloud programs and technical maintenance of the platform by:
Support marketing programs that utilize Email Studio, Web Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio and some custom integrationsLead ongoing Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform health, troubleshoot system errors and provide user support for a large enterpriseChampion the platform and teams' capabilities across the firm Responsibilities Include:
Monitor deliverability reputation across email clientsPromote email template consistency, improvements, usability/accessibility testing and documentationUtilize HTML, AMPscript, JavaScript and WYSIWYG editors to create email templates, content modules and cloud pagesFamiliarity with email guidelines associated with regulated industries PROGRAM
Identify project risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve issuesUtilize journey data extensions, data filters and SQL activities to create campaign audiencesBuild advanced, multi-touch journeys and configure decision, random, and engagement splitsConduct quality assurance reviews and other activities to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of campaign deploymentsMonitor ongoing campaigns and troubleshoot errors PLATFORM
Advise end users and business partners, both functional and technical, on best practices within Marketing Cloud while still achieving business partners' goalsMaintain standard operating procedures including naming conventions, folder structures, campaign standardsManage integration functionality and requirements with other platforms (ex: DAM, CRM, Talend, Ad Channels, etc.)Familiarity with AI tools and how to leverage them for efficiency gains What you have
Marketing Cloud Email Specialist CertificationMarketing Cloud Consultant Certification a plus4+ years' experience as a Marketing Cloud Admin, Architect or Email SpecialistExperience working with Marketing Cloud data extensions, SQL queries, and AMPScriptExperience documenting customer problems and software solutions using BRDs, wireframes, diagrams, workflows and mockupsFamiliarity w/ Sales Cloud and/or Financial Services CloudExperience with the Agile methodology and JIRA softwareCreative problem solver and innovative out-of-the-box thinker who can effectively collaborate with both technology and business partners to design new products and applicationsBachelor's degree required. Associated Digital/Development Experience:
