Job Summary The Automation & Validation Intern supports improvement projects related to equipment automation, semi-automated system upgrades, vision systems, and validation activities. This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while supporting technical documentation, equipment testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Education & Experience Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field. Basic knowledge of automation, controls, sensors, vision systems, robotics, or equipment validation is preferred. Previous academic projects, technical training, or internship experience is an advantage but not required.
Responsibilities -Support automation improvement and equipment upgrade projects. -Assist with equipment testing, data collection, troubleshooting, and technical evaluations. -Support the preparation and execution of validation protocols and related documentation. -Assist with the integration or improvement of sensors, controls, vision systems, and semi-automated equipment. -Maintain project documentation and follow established safety, quality, and operational requirements. -Collaborate with Engineering, Validation, Quality, and Manufacturing teams. -Provide follow-up to assigned activities and communicate project progress or identified issues.
Skills/ Ability Generic (High Level) -Strong interest in automation, equipment technology, and hands-on technical work. -Basic analytical and problem-solving skills. -Ability to read and understand technical information, diagrams, and work instructions. -Good organization, communication, teamwork, and attention to detail. -Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a manufacturing environment. -Basic to intermediate English communication skills preferred.
