About the Role You will help build the cloud backend that powers next-generation robotic solutions. This role sits in a high-performing engineering environment where scalability, distributed systems and operational excellence matter every day. You will work across the full DevOps lifecycle and contribute to backend services that need to be robust, maintainable and production-ready. Job DescriptionYou will design, develop and maintain cloud-based backend services using Kotlin and, to some extent, Java. You will build and operate microservices on AWS using services such as ECS, ElastiCache, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3 and API Gateway. You will help define and improve CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployments with Docker. You will support and evolve Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation and Terraform. You will take part in code reviews, testing and performance tuning to ensure stable and scalable services. You will contribute across the DevOps lifecycle in an agile team working with modern backend architecture. RequirementsStrong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java. Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS or Kubernetes, ElastiCache or Redis/Valkey, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3 and API Gateway. Experience building and maintaining distributed systems and microservices architectures. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, as well as container technologies such as Docker and ECS or Kubernetes. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation or Terraform. Fluent in English. Nice to haveExperience with Quarkus and Gradle. Experience building applications using layered or clean architecture. Experience with Big Data tools such as Databricks. Swedish proficiency.
