We are looking for a versatile and dynamic professional to join Kempinski Harbour Heights Bahrain. The Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) for the pre-opening phase serves as the commercial architect behind the hotel’s launch strategy. This role is responsible for driving the pre-opening commercial roadmap—establishing brand positioning, building local and international account pipelines, and implementing data-driven marketing campaigns to ensure high-impact opening revenue across Rooms and F&B. How You Will Make a Difference; What We’re Looking For Pre-Opening Strategy & Commercial Planning Formulate and execute the integrated Pre-Opening Sales & Marketing Business Plan , budget, and launch timeline in alignment with Kempinski corporate standards. Conduct in-depth market feasibility studies, competitor analysis, and positioning strategies tailored to Bahrain's luxury hospitality landscape. Collaborate with Revenue Management to establish base-rate architecture, yield strategies, seasonal pricing, and inventory distribution channels. Lead all grand-opening activation events, PR narratives, and global press launches to establish immediate market share. Sales & Revenue Generation Proactively target, contract, and build pipelines across key market segments: GCC Luxury Leisure, Corporate/Government, Travel Trade, and MICE. Establish strategic partnerships with global luxury consortia and Kempinski Global Sales Offices (GSOs). Drive total hotel top-line revenue across Rooms, Food & Beverage operations. Marketing, Digital & PR Strategy Oversee brand-compliant luxury marketing campaigns across digital performance, CRM, localized social media, and paid media channels. Direct local and international PR agencies to secure high-visibility media features leading up to the opening. Ensure early deployment of the property website, booking engines, and digital content assets. Team Leadership & Operations Recruit, build, and mentor the pre-opening Sales, Marketing, Events, and Public Relations teams. Establish Departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team. Manage vendor contracts and agency relationships.
