The role provides strong squad-level technical contribution across the React and .NET ecosystem, including TypeScript, component architecture, C#, ASP.NET Core, APIs, SQL Server, Azure, automated testing, accessibility, performance, and secure integration patterns. Working closely with architects, lead engineers, and senior engineers, the role helps translate technical direction into maintainable implementation, follows engineering standards, and contributes to overall delivery quality through good engineering practice. This role is ideal for an experienced full-stack engineer with 6-8 years' experience who can work independently on well-defined features, contribute to technical design, and deliver robust web applications and services in Agile engineering squads. Full Stack Design & Development Design, build, and maintain high-quality React, TypeScript, .NET, and C# applications aligned to architecture and squad priorities. Build reusable UI components, API services, domain services, background workers, and integrations using clean architecture and squad patterns. Write clean, secure, maintainable front-end and back-end code following SOLID, React patterns, domain modelling, and engineering standards. Develop client-side features, API integrations, data layers, and SQL Server / Entity Framework solutions for performance, reliability, and maintainability. Build responsive, accessible, containerised, and event-driven components to support scalable, resilient platforms where appropriate. Engineering Quality, Testing & DevOps Create and maintain automated tests across unit, component, integration, contract, end-to-end, and service layers, using TDD where appropriate. Contribute to CI/CD, quality gates, automated deployment, environment setup, static analysis, and release readiness. Support observability, resilience, logging, monitoring, alerting, accessibility, and performance tuning. Apply secure coding across authentication, authorisation, API use, data handling, dependency management, and service communication. Technical Contribution & Collaboration Collaborate with developers through code reviews, pairing, design discussions, and constructive technical feedback. Collaborate with junior, mid-level, and senior developers through code reviews, pairing, design discussion, and constructive technical feedback. Contribute to shared full-stack standards, templates, component and service patterns, and clean architecture practices. Support onboarding, knowledge sharing, and technical documentation where full-stack input is needed. Problem Solving & Support Work with Architects, Lead Engineers, QA, Product Owners, and Platform Engineers to resolve cross-cutting technical issues. Improve shared front-end libraries, back-end frameworks, reusable components, and platform components where required. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work with Architects, Product Owners, Platform Engineers, QA, and peers to ensure solutions meet business and user needs. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning, refinement, retrospectives, technical discovery, and continuous improvement. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Identify practical improvements to developer experience, quality, maintainability, accessibility, resilience, and delivery effectiveness. Stay current with React, TypeScript, .NET, cloud, clean architecture, testing, accessibility, and integration practices. Support continuous learning and engineering improvement across the squad and wider community.
