Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer with Facilities and Power Distribution experience to support our Columbia, PA manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for the development, maintenance, documentation, and continuous improvement of the site's electrical infrastructure, including substations, switchgear, and facility-wide power distribution systems. A key focus of this position will be understanding and documenting the plant's electrical distribution network from incoming utility power through final distribution points across the facility. This individual will play a critical role in improving electrical safety, equipment reliability, maintenance programs, long-term infrastructure planning, and annual shutdown execution. Develop specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents for electrical infrastructure projects. Develop requirements and specifications for facility infrastructure, including power distribution, substations, switchgear, electrical protection systems, and supporting electro-mechanical systems. Lead efforts to document and maintain accurate records of the facility's electrical distribution network, including one-line diagrams, distribution circuits, substations, and critical electrical assets. Assist Purchasing with bidder lists and bid reviews by providing relevant, consolidated data to support vendor selection and project decisions. Review, inspect, and approve vendor designs and electrical plans to ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements. Perform field investigations to gather data, verify installations, identify tie-ins, and provide construction and commissioning support. Coordinate contractor activities and provide clear direction regarding ASC's electrical, safety, and facility standards. Develop and track project schedules, milestones, budgets, and implementation plans. Create and manage project budgets, timelines, and Gantt charts. Determine power loads and energy requirements for newly installed equipment and facility upgrades. Combine specifications, standards, drawings, and documentation into bid packages and solicit bids for equipment and services. Manage contractor performance, inspect completed work, and ensure equipment installations meet specifications and operational requirements. Partner with utility providers and external stakeholders to plan and execute electrical infrastructure projects and outage activities. Develop and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs for electrical infrastructure, including substations, transformers, switchgear, and distribution equipment. Support electrical safety initiatives, equipment criticality assessments, and long-term reliability improvement efforts. Lead planning activities for annual shutdowns and major outage events, ensuring projects are properly scoped, coordinated, and executed with minimal operational disruption. Promote OSHA safety standards, electrical safety best practices, and industrial construction standards.
